Free eye surgery for Mother's Day

As part of a project launched to mark Her Majesty the Queen's 80th birthday on August 12, people suffering from cataracts can have their eyes checked for free on August 10 between 7am and 5pm at the 11th Infantry Regiment's army club in Bangkok's Bang Khe

This project is being repeated because only 60 out of 350 patients could be given free cataract surgery under a similar project organised to mark HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn’s birthday on July 22. The free surgery is sponsored by the Army, the Internal Security Operations Command, Samut Sakhon’s Ban Phaeo Hospital and the National Security Business Association.
