Scholarship scheme to boost research launched

The government has unveiled a new scheme to grant one scholarship per educational institute, with the possibility of offering them to private organisations at a later stage.
Speaking at a seminar, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said a lot of previous research reports had been discarded or shelved and that new scholarships should be granted on businessdriven subjects relevant to industrial and trade fields.
