Pirate Bay co-founder deported from Cambodia

Phnom Penh - Cambodia has deported the Swedish co-founder offile-sharing website The Pirate Bay, officials said Tuesday.
Gottfrid Svartholm Warg left Cambodia on a flight to the Thai capital Bangkok late Monday, police spokesman Kirth Chantharith was quoted as saying in the Phnom Penh Post.
"His further destination is the responsibility of the Swedish authorities," he said.
Bertil Olofsson, head of the Swedish national police's international section, was quoted as saying that a police officer and an official from the Swedish prison service would accompany SvartholmWarg to his native country.
The co-founder of The Pirate Bay was arrested in the Cambodiancapital in late August over cyber crime allegations following a request from Sweden, according to local media.//DPA
