Yoswarit was released after his wife, Karuna Moris, posted Bt600,000 as bail guarantee.
However, the court set three bail conditions for him to follow: he do nothing to incite unrest; must not leave the Kingdom without court permission; and keep his own promise to forfeit his right to speak at political rallies and not express his political opinions in public again.
Yoswarit’s bail was revoked on August 22 after he made intimidating remarks aimed at Constitution Court judges at a red-shirt rally and announced their personal phone numbers.
However, the court agreed to grant him bail after he showed remorse and published an apology for three consecutive days in the Matichon and Khao Sod dailies.
The court also said that Yoswarit had been detained for more than a month since August 22, so he should have learned a lesson by now.
