Tha Mai Ruak superintendent Pol Col Pichai Pokpong led a team to bring Wilsa Janthabanchorn, 40, who is one of Dr Supat’s four wives, to Phetchaburi court.
The court later rejected an bid by her lawyer for Wilsa to be released on bail of Bt500,000 in cash. It said she was a flight risk and feared she might tamper with evidence.
Samart’s father Sawang Noomjui said he had visited Wilsa prior to her transport to the court and asked her where his son and daughter in-law’s bodies were hidden so that he could retrieve them for religious rituals but Wilsa kept crying and said she didn’t know.
He said she only admitted to accompanying Supat to take the couple from a farm in Ban Wang Khaosan to a farm in Ban Tha Marid, both in Tambon Klad Luang. After that, she claimed not to know, because she wasn’t there. Sawang was confident that the couple’s bodies would be at the farm in Ban Tha Marid, so he urged police to get a warrant to search for the bodies there.
