Japan's Tokugawa Museum has granted Bt400,000 for the repair of 23 Buddha images at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, which were damaged by last year's flood, abbot assistant Phra Kru Arun Thammanuwat said yesterday.

The museum also sent a certificate in Japanese language saying Wat Arun was nominated as cultural heritage worthy of conservation this year.
