Wall St ends flat

U.S. stocks closed out the month of October flat amid thin trading overnight with Dow falling 2.5 per cent for October.
Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 10.75 points, or 0.08 per cent, to close at 13,096.46.
S&P 500 gained 0.22 points, or 0.02 per cent, to end at 1,412.16.
Nasdaq fell 10.72 points, or 0.36 per cent to 2,977.23.
Among the key S&P sectors, health care dropped, while utilities finished higher.
