Samira radio station owner Kitti Chuchuay sent a lawyer to inform police yesterday that he had nothing to do with the November 7 murder of Songkhla municipality mayor Peera Tantiseranee – and he would fully cooperate to the investigation.

Kitti was a political rival of Peera and the pickup suspected of being used in the mayor’s shooting was found at the radio-station car park.
Provincial Police Region 9 deputy chief Prasert Jansawang hosted a meeting of investigators yesterday to gather evidence as six witnesses gave details to police. An arrest warrant was due to be issued late yesterday.
