Govt enforces ISA for nine days in heart of Bangkok

The government Thursday enforced the Internal Security Act for nine days covering three Bangkok districts ahead of mass rally Saturday.

The enforcement of the ISA covers Dusit, Promprap and Phra Nakhon districts until November 30.

The ISA enforcement empowers the government to call military reinforcements if police fail to control the crowd.
The enforcement was announced after Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra held a meeting of Pheu Thai Cabinet members.
