PSI, Workpoint form JV to launch 3 satellite TV channels next year
PSI Holdings, the country's largest manufacturer and trader of satellite-TV receivers, has formed a joint venture with leading television-production house Workpoint Entertainment to launch three satellite TV channels early next year.
Freesize Broadcasting, the new 50:50 JV with Bt100 million registered capital, “is a perfect marriage between an expert in satellite TV business for more than two decades and a highly experienced TV production house in the Kingdom”, Somporn Teerarochanapong, chairman of PSI Holdings, said Tuesday.
