Counterfeit cosmetics seized by DSI

Counterfeit beauty products worth Bt30 milion were seized Monday by the Department of Special Investigation in Pathum Thani's Lam Lukka district, DSI chief Tharit Pengdit said.
The counterfeit products also copied cosmetics of wellknown Nitipon Clinic, Wuttisak Clinic and Yanhee Hospital brands.
Announcing that the 30,000 items, featured in two websites www.bevershop.com and www.sumpang.com, Tharit told the Monday press confeerence that DSI had carried the intellectual property and international trade court’s warrant to search three houses in Lam Lukka area and a shop in Don Meuang new market. He added that the items reportedly belonged to a man named, Somo Kulsongkram, who had previous similar offences.
