“We hope the government will consider hiring the affected subcontractors via a special process,” Natakorn Sritaha said yesterday. He is an executive of Wanlertlak Co Ltd, which received a subcontract from PCC Development and Construction Co Ltd.
If Wanlertlak Co did not receive help, it would file a complaint with the Central Administrative Court, he said.
PCC Development and Construction is the subject of several probes. Earlier this week it denied any suggestion that it was involved in corruption or fraud.
It has blamed the failure to complete the construction of the police stations by the deadline on the delayed hand-over of land plots by the authorities.
Nitikorn said at least 20 subcontractors had not received payments from PCC for that portion of the work that was completed.
“We have jointly filed a fraud charge against this firm,” he said.
Each of the subcontractors suffered damages of between Bt1 million and Bt5 million, he said.
