Korkaew's bail hearing on April 19

The Criminal Court yesterday scheduled April 19 for Pheu Thai MP Korkaew Pikulthong to hear its decision on whether to grant him bail.

The court summoned the red-shirt leader yesterday to consider his temporary release in the terrorism case related to the political turmoil in 2010.
Deputy House Speaker Charoen Jankomol, Pheu Thai leader Charupong Ruangsuwan and red-shirt leader Thida Thawornseth have been proposed as guarantors for his bail.
Korkaew’s bail was revoked last year because of remarks he made about Constitution Court judges and was released on bail due to immunity for MPs while Parliament is in session.
The current House session will go into recess on April 18, so the court has scheduled to summon him again on April 19.
