SET index down 38.93 pts,2.5% on rising tension in Korean peninsula

Thai composite stocks index (SET) closed at 1,489.53, down by 38.93 points, or 2.5 per cent as investors are concern over rising tensions in Korean peninsula.
Turnover was low at Bt49.85 billion with 11.48 billion shares changing hands.
Blue-chip SET-50 index ended at 982.48 points, down 28.23 points.
Foreign investors were net sellers of Bt3.08 billion in Thai shares. Local institutions were net buyers of
Bt138 million; brokers were net sellers of Bt161 million; and individual investors were net buyers of Bt3.1billion.
