Boston bombing suspect buried

Washington - The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been buried in Virginia, reports said Friday.

Tsarnaev's remains were buried in a Muslim cemetery in Doswell, a town about 24 kilometres from the state capital of Richmond, the Boston Globe reported.
The burial plot was found with the help of a Virginia woman who stepped in after seeing reports about the difficulty officials had in finding a final resting place for Tsarnaev, according to the newspaper.
Prior to arriving in Virgnia on Wednesday, Tsarnaev's remains had been in a Worcester, Massachusetts, funeral home. People had protested outside the home against having Tsarneav's remains being buried anywhere nearby.
The Virginia women said those protests "portrayed America at its worst," so she decided to help. She reached out to Islamic Funeral Services of Virginia, which found the burial plot.//DPA
