Washington - A single US Powerball lottery ticket holder in Florida won 590.5 million dollars, the biggest payout in the history of the game, media reports said.
The ticket was sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, in the state of Florida, NBC News said, citing local lottery officials.
Two winners shared the previous Powerball record payout of 587.5 million dollars in November.//DPA
