The Parent-Youth Network for Education Reform had asked DSI to probe the foundation executives’ bank accounts as well as their family and close aides’ money transactions. They want to determine whether the foundation’s donation money was spent inappropriately, DSI investigator Pol Lt Col Banthoon Chimkra said Monday.
The network claimed the foundation received Bt2 billion in donations but still charged tuition fees at a too-high rate, which went against the foundation’s and the religion’s principles.
