New jobs for five top officials

The Cabinet approved transfers yesterday of five senior positions, including top posts at the Public Relations Department and Local Administration Department.
Ministers approved the transfer of five officials proposed by Interior Minister Charupong Ruangsuwan. They were:
_ Kaenphet Chuangransi, director-general of the Local Administration Department, will become deputy permanent secretary for the Interior Ministry.
_ Wallop Pringpong, deputy permanent secretary for Interior Ministry, will become the new director-general of the Local Administration Department.
_ Apinan Chantharangsi, Buri Ram governor, will become the director-general of the Public Relations Department.
_ Thongchai Lue-adul, Bueng Kan governor, will become Buri Ram governor.
_ Pongsathorn Satchachol, an inspector general, will become Bueng Kan governor.
The appointments will take effect once approved via a royal command.
