Wall St ends lower on Fed hints of stimulus curbing

Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 206.04 points, or 1.35 per cent to close at 15,112.19 after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke hinted that the central bank could curb its stimulus measure (bond purchases) later this year.

S&P 500 fell 22.88 points, or 1.39 per cent to 1,6.28.93. All key S&P sectors finished firmly lower on telecom and utilities sectors.
Nasdaq composite slipped 38.98 points, or 1.12 per cent to 3,443.20.
