Sudarat decision next week, antigraft body says

The National AntiCorruption Commission (NACC) Tuesday postponed its decision on a graft probe into former public health minister Sudarat Keyuraphan to July 2.

NACC secretary-general Narong Ratamarit said that consideration of the case about alleged irregularities in the procurement of computers was postponed because the NACC lacked a quorum.
Narong said commissioner Prasart Pongsiwapai fell ill and was admitted to Phayathai 2 Hospital on Sunday night, so the agency lacked a quorum.
Sudarat was accused of being involved in alleged irregularities in the procurement of computers worth Bt821 million by the Public Health Ministry. She denied the charges.
