Thai composite stocks index (SET) opened on&nbsp;Wednesday&nbsp;at 1,400.72,up 16.09 points in line with&nbsp; most regional shares on better-than-expected US economic reports.

	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 940.16, up 5.92 points, or 0.63 per cent.
