Thai composite stocks index (SET) closed on Wednesday at 1,424.38, up 39.75 points, or 2.87 per cent in line with most regional shares amid Bt74.97 billion turnover. 
	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 961.98, up 27.74 points, or 2.97 per cent.
