NSC says it holds talks with several insurgent groups

National Security Council (NSC) revealed that the agency currently had secret talks with several separatist groups without going through Malaysia's facilitation.

Commenting that the recent violent attacks were carried out by new-generation insurgents who thought differently and used violence as the mean to attain their goals whilst Thailand maintain its constitution principle, NSC advisor Charoon Ampa said NSC was willing to talk with more groups because some might disagree with the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN).
He said the agency was actually talking with several groups in secret at the moment without going through Malaysia.
