Muggers of KPN singers receive jail term

The Criminal Court on Wednesday returned 18 year jail sentences on the two men who beat up and robbed KPN Awards singers Taspak “Bie” Chi, 21, and Anurak “Bomb” Boonpermpol, 27, in Bangkok’s Soi Ratchadapisek 36 last year.
Since their confessions were useful to the case, the court halved the sentences for Tawut Praputsorn and Anusorn Yawong, both 19, who were charged with armed robbery and robbery with use of vehicle.
