	Srisuwan Janya, secretary general of the Thai Constitution Protection Organisation, has filed a petition with the Office of the Ombudsman, asking it to launch impeachment proceedings against the government for its failure to deliver a oneyear progress report in Parliament.</div>

	The petition said the government was required by Article 75 of the Constitution to submit an annual report to Parliament, but it had not complied with the regulation after serving for two full years.</div>
