Thaksin calls on Thais to rely on each other

Hundreds of people flocked to Nonthaburi's Wat Kaew Far to join the birthday event held for fugitive former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, while several hundred others held similar events in their hometowns.
In a brief phone-in at Wat Kaew Far, Thaksin said Thai people had no choice but to rely on each other to solve the country’s conflicts.
Meanwhile, many Pheu Thai MPs flew to Hong Kong on Friday and more were to follow on Saturday to deliver their birthday wishes in person.
