Phuket Airport conducts bomb drill

Phuket Internatioal Airport on Wednesday hosted a bomb drill, to assure passengers of safety measures.
Phuket Governor Maitree Inthusut presided over the drill, taking place in front of Terminal 2. All related units were present in the drill, ranging from the airport's officers, firemen, bomb diffusion officers to medical staff.
The governor was pleased with the successful drill, saying that this should assure tourists of safety measures at the airport, particularly foreigners. "This should encourage them to come to Phuket, which generates over Bt100 billion in annual tourism revenue," he said.
