A political reform forum, initiated by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, could begin as early as next week and around 100 participants are expected to join the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Phongthep Thepkanjana said Friday.
“The number of participants should be more than 50 but not over 100, otherwise the opinions could vary too much,” he said.
Phongthep said he understood some of senior figures invited may not be able to join the forum due to their current status.
It was reported that among the speakers could be former British prime minister Tony Blair and former United Nations secretary-general Kofi Annan.
