ICT plans for more efficient school tablets

The Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Monday
revealed a pilot project under the Thailand Smart Education scheme, to find a way to boost the efficiency of computer tablets used in the education sector.
The pilot project will be conducted at Chulalongkorn University's demonstration school (primary level and replicated at schools nationwide.ICT Minister Anudith Nakornthap said TOT was in charge of developing the computer programme for tablets.
They are designed to help teachers develop new subjects and also support E-learning. The programmes will work on the Cloud computing environment.
