A road in Trang is blocked

Protesting rubber growers in Trang are blocking a main road in Huay Yod district, saying the government is insincere in helping them.
At 3pm, about 1,000 protesters were seen at the Andaman intersection. A protester said they were dissent that the government failed to send someone with authority, like a deputy prime minister or the agriculture minister, to lead a negotiation with protesters in Surat Thani. They said only this would ensure fast solution to the sagging rubber prices.
The protesters now prepare a big stage at the intersection. Ten tents are put up and more will be installed.
