Wall St ends near highs

U.S. stocks closed near highs with Dow closing above 15,000, posted best day in 2 months on encouraging economic data from China amid ongoing concerns over Syria.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 140.62 points, or 0.94 per cent at 15,063.12.

The S&P 500 gained 16.54 points, or 1 per cent at 1,671.71, while the Nasdaq composited added  46.17 points, or 1.26 per cent at 3,706.18. 

All key S&P sectors finished higher, boosted by materials and technology shares.
