Wall St ends 4-day of gains

U.S. stocks closed near session lows overnight as investors ignored some positive economic reports a day after Federal Reserve surprised global markets by maintaining its bond-buying stimulus.

Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 40.39 points at 15,636.55, while S&P 500 fell 3.18 points to 1,722.34,
Among key S&P sectors, utilities and financials led the decliner, while technology shares end up slightly.
Nasdaq composite added 5.74 points to end at 3,789.38 after briefly hitting a new 13-year high.
