Income guarantee sought for Samet people

Harnnarong Yaowalert, chairman of an environment and natural resources conservation assembly, is seeking an income guarantee for residents in Koh Samet.
He said that PTT Group, responsible for the oil leak in July, should come up with the 5-year income guarantee.
He said that without exact information on marine lives, PTT has told the public that the island's condition is fully restored. It should be responsible for the chain reaction, as the locals from workers, restaurant operators and others are suffering from a fall in revenue.
