Presidents of two South American countries to visit Thailand next month

Presidents of Chili and Peru would visit Thailand early next month to boost ties and establish free trade agreement, Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul said Wednesday in New York.
Chili’s President Sebastián Piñera would arrive in Thailand on October 4. He would meet with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
The two governments would sign a free trade agreement to boost two-way trade, Surapong said.
Meanwhile Peru’s President Ollanta Humala would visit Thailand on October 5 and would announce an establishment of free trade negotiation during his visit, he said.
