Thai-Chinese leaders meet in Bali

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and China's President Xi Jinping met in Bali shortly after their arrival to the resort island in Indonesia on Sunday.

On the government's website, Xi praised the Thai prime minister for her dedication in strengthening the bilateral relationship. He also said that the Thai-Chinese relations would be a model for China to strengthen relations with other Asean nations.
In their first meeting since Xi was crowned the new president of China, Yingluck congratulated him and praised his "China's Dream" vision.
