He said Anand's participation will start after the reform council structure is complete. According to Banharn, Anand is concerned with the political condition, after the government pushed for amendments in the amnesty bill and the Constitution.
Banharn, the official coordinator of the government's reform council, also plans to invite more stakeholders to join the forum. They include former People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) leaders and the Democrat leaders. “I told khun Chuan (Leekpai, Democrat Party) that I will try to do everything that I can. And I will see him again,” he said.
Banharn on Monday attended the meeting of the council's sub-committee on economic issues. The meeting took place as People's Movement for a Just Society (P-Move) gathered outside the Government House, demanding for measures to resolve the economic disparity.
