Banharn supported in his leading role for political reform: survey

The public supports former prime minister Banharn Silapa-archa in playing the leading role in pushing for political reform, an opinion survey has found.

Suan Dusit pollster found that Banharn, Chat Thai Pattana Party chief adviser, had the support of 37.12 per cent of the respondents to lead the reform efforts.
The survey was conducted during October 9-11 among 1,169 respondents.
It found that most respondents agreed with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s decision to assign Banharn the leading role in the government-initiated political reforms.
