PTT loses 3 engineers

PTT Plc said yesterday that it was sorry to have lost three valuable engineers in the Lao Airlines crash, as it expressed condolences to the families.

Chavalit Punthong, PTT’s executive vice-president for retail marketing, said the engineers were travelling to Laos to carry out a mission to expand petrol stations and depots.

They were identified as Yangyong Apaanan, Nipol Mengsee and Laos national Vilathep Vivavong.
Chavalit said the deaths were a great loss, adding that PTT would take good care of the families and even pay more than required.
It will also assign a related agency to coordinate with the families to seek compensation from the airline, Chavalit said.
