Reform initiative: Phongthep expects quick progress

Deputy Prime Minister Phongthep Thepkanjana is looking for rapid progress in the political reform initiative, with the three panels expected to complete their assignments this year.

The political, economic and social subcommittees are collecting reform proposals for assessment.
In a FM92.5 interview, Phongthep insisted that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was sincere about reform.
The political reform committee, chaired by Banharn Silapa-archa, a former prime minister and chief adviser of the Chart Thai Pattana Party, will consider all suggestions to ensure a successful outcome, he said.
