Banharn supports speedy passing of amnesty bill

Chat Thai Pattana's advisory chief Banharn Silapaarcha on Friday said he supported the speedy passing of the controversial amnesty bill, adding that anything could happen were the process prolonged.
Banharn said the bill has to go through more procedures so he is supportive of its passing. The House passed the governmentsponsored bill around 4am Friday although the vetting started Thursday morning. He added it is normal that the Opposition MPs would come out to protest against the bill but he believed there would no violence.
