Relatives of killed red-shirt protesters express support to amnesty bill

Members of 24 families whose relatives were killed during the crackdowns on red-shirt protesters in 2010 expressed support for the amnesty bill Monday.

The families sought a meeting with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to express their support for the bill.
They were led by Somchai Jiamphol, the father of Tipnetr Jiamphol who was killed on Soi Rangnam during the crackdowns.
Somchai said relatives of the slain protesters agreed that the amnesty would be he best way-out for the country so that it could move forward.
