Police to summon Jakkrit's wife's half-brother again

A half-brother of Dr Nithiwadee Phucharoenyos, wife of slain Olympian shooter Jakkrit Panichpatikum, will be summoned for questioning again in a day or two, police said yesterday.
The ongoing investigation has suggested that a family dispute might be a motive behind Jakkrit’s murder. The sportsman was gunned down on October 19. Earlier this year, his wife and his mother had made a public complaint of domestic violence.
A police source said yesterday that a relative of Nithiwadee’s half-brother would also be summoned for questioning.
Police have already interrogated some 60 witnesses and uncovered useful information, including the fact that Jakkrit knew he was being targeted and had changed his place of stay frequently to protect himself.
