Appeals court upholds webmaster's sentence

The Court of Appeals is upholding the Criminal Court's verdict and sentencing Prachathai webmaster Jeeranuch Premchaiyaporn to eight months in jail for allowing Netizens to post messages that could be deemed insulting to the monarchy.
The sentence is suspended for one year.
Jeeranuch was accused of allowing lese majeste comments to appear on the website for 20 days. She has said that she will not appeal.
