Pheu Thai MP Pichit Chuenban, a legal expert, said Sunday that he would propose to the coalition to have all coalition MPs affirm in a letter to the House speaker that they would not revive the rejected amnesty bill.
Pichit said the reaffirmation letter by the coalition MPs would prompt the society to believe that the government has really aborted the amnesty efforts.
