SET index opens up 6.24 pts,0.44 pct

Thai composite stocks opened on Friday at 1,421.93, up 6.24 points, or 0.44 per cent in line with most regional shares following comments from Federal Reserve Vice-Chairman Yellen that U.S. still needs monetary stimulus.
Blue chip SET-50 index was at 970.94, up 4.67 points, or 0.48 per cent.
