Senators urged to stop plan on Bt2 tn bill

Pheu Thai Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit Sunday urged the Group of 40 Senators not to seek the Constitutional Court's ruling on the Bt2 trillion borrowing bill.

The group threatened to seek the Court's opinion once the Senate passes the law at Monday's deliberation.
Prompong said that the senators should take into account the national interests and the benefits of the investment scheme.
These senators have acted against public opinions through their legal fightings, he said. This should stop actions meant to seek political gains, for the sake of the nation.
