Coalition whips set censure debate dates on Tuesday, Wednesday

Chief coalition whip Amnuay Klungpha said Friday that the censure debate will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Amnuay was speaking to reporters after a discussion with chief opposition whip Jurin Laksanavisit over the phone.
Amnuay said the debate is now scheduled from noon to midnight on Tuesday and from 9 am to midnight on Wednesday.
Amnuay said the debate time would be one and a half days because the Senate would use the assembly hall on Monday and the first half of Tuesday.
The debate time could be extended to 1 or 2am on Thursday, Amnuay said.
Amnuay said the coalition whips invited the opposition whips to a meeting to reach an agreement on the censure debate dates.
He said the opposition whips declined to attend the meeting so he had to call Jurin.
Amnuay said the opposition whips wanted to hold censure debate for three days but this was not possible.
