Panthongtae's plea

Former premier Thaksin's son Pan-thongtae Shinawatra yesterday urged Thais to call on protest leader Suthep Thaugsu-ban to call off his anti-government rally.

Panthongtae wrote on his Facebook wall that if Suthep managed to bring out protesters to topple the government, the country would stand to lose. All Thais should urge Suthep to stop and return to work in Parliament instead of leading street protests. Thaksin’s daughters Pinthongta and Praethongthan posted on Instagram @aimpintongta and @ingshin21 that “Everyone can rally peacefully if they have different thinking in politics but they should not slur others”.
