Abhisit urges PM to heed protesters' demand

Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva on Monday urged Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and the ruling Pheu Thai Party to heed calls from demonstrators who were now protesting against the government.
He said the massive number of people gathering at the Rajdamnoen rally site is a significant expression of the wish by Thai society to see a change in the country.
“It’s a pity that we have not so far witnessed how the PM and government will response to the calling. They just repeatedly saying ‘please sit and talk’,” Abhisit said.
