Paradorn proposes one-month ISA extension

National Security Council Secretary General Lt Gen Paradorn Pattanathabutr said Monday that he would propose the extension of the enforcement of Internal Security Act in Bangkok for another month.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting of security agencies, Paradorn said he would raise the proposal during a meeting of the Internal Security Operations Command this week.
The current ISA enforcement will expire at the end of this month.
Paradorn added that the number of protesters peaked at 8 pm on Sunday.
